What if there is a mechanical failure
Common failures include mechanical and electrical failures. Mechanical failure includes fuel injector spool stuck, fuel injector blocking and leakage, when the above faults occur, will cause mechanical failure, thus affecting the normal operation of the engine, sometimes even make the engine serious failure.
Injector needle valve stuck
The operation of the fuel injector is signalled by the engine control unit, and the electromagnetic coil of the fuel injector is energized to generate suction to drive the needle valve action of the fuel injector. Because the gap between the needle valve and the valve seat is blocked by the residual adhesive, the operation of the needle valve is astringent and cannot be opened normally, thus affecting the normal injection amount. After the needle valve stuck in the fuel injector, the engine will start difficult, idle unstable, poor acceleration and other symptoms. The main reason for the fuel injector stuck is the use of inferior gasoline, because of the paraffin and gum in inferior gasoline, which leads to the needle valve stuck injector.
The fuel injector is blocked
Fuel injector blocking fault can be divided into fuel injector internal blocking and fuel injector head external blocking. The reason for the internal blockage of the fuel injector is that impurities and dirt mixed with gasoline block the movement gap of the needle valve inside the fuel injector, so that the mechanical action of the fuel injector is abnormal. When the fuel injector is clogged, the engine will correspondingly have startup difficulties, idling instability, poor acceleration and other symptoms. In serious cases, it will even cause serious engine jitter, and lead to abnormal wear of the relevant mechanical components.
The fuel injector is leaking
Fuel injector leakage fault is generally divided into internal leakage and external leakage two cases. The internal leakage of the fuel injector is mostly due to its early wear in use, resulting in its continuous leakage of fuel into the intake manifold under the action of system pressure. The external leakage of the injector occurs in the connection of the injector and the oil rail, which is mostly sealed by the sealing surface. If the gasoline leaks outside the intake manifold, the oil drops on the cylinder block, and it will evaporate in the engine compartment after being heated. Once there is an electric spark, it will cause a fire at any time, with very serious consequences. When the internal leakage of the fuel injector, it will cause the fuel atomization of the fuel injector is not good, causing the engine to run unsmoothly, the mixture combustion is not complete, the exhaust pipe black smoke phenomenon, and will lead to the fuel consumption of the vehicle increased significantly. When the external leakage fault of the fuel injector occurs, it will lead to the engine starting difficulty, idle stall, power decline, fuel consumption increase, operation surge and poor acceleration and other failures.
